Nubia Play 5G with 144Hz display, Snapdragon 765G Announced

An affordable gaming smartphone with 5G and 144Hz refresh rate

Gaming smartphones are getting popular smartphones these days. Last year, we saw Flagship smartphones like Black Shark 2 and Asus RoG phone 2. While they filled the gaming flagship lineup, there was a void in the mid-range segment.

Nubia has announced a new gaming smartphone in China dubbed, Nubia Play 5G. This is Nubia’s second gaming smartphone with a 144Hz refresh rate after RedMagic 5G. Nubia Play 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC which is a 5G enabled, which makes it one of the cheapest 5G smartphone in the current market. It features a new ICE 2.5 liquid cooling system and there is a dedicated shoulder triggers specially designed for gamers.

Nubia Play 5G will go on sale in China from April 24th. This smartphone is currently available only in China. There are rumours that this smartphone could be launched in India on July 23, 2020. We will keep you updated about the Indian launch date and price.
