Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max Launched in India, starts at INR 12,999

Xiaomi India has announced its 9th gen Redmi Note series smartphones in India today. The company also mentioned that it has sold over 100 million Redmi branded smartphones in India since its inception back in 2014. The company today announced two new Redmi devices today – Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

Both the smartphones are powered by the new Snapdragon 720G 8nm Octa-core processor clocking at 2.3Ghz coupled with Adreno 618GPU. Also, these smartphones come with ISRO’s own NAVIC navigation system, just like the latest realme 6 Pro. Further, in the camera department, both the 9 Pro and 9 Pro Max features a quad rear camera array. The Redmi 9 Pro comes with a 64MP primary camera with Samsung GW1 sensor, f/1.89, an 8MP 119-degree wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the Redmi 9 Pro comes with a 48MP primary Samsung GM2 sensor and features the same wide-angle, macro and depth sensor as the Pro Max.

To power all the internals, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max is packed with a big 5020mAH battery with 18W and 33W fast charging respectively. On the display front, both the devices come with a 6.67-inch Full-HD 20:9 cinematic display with corning Gorilla Glass protection.
