As expected, realme launched its latest flagship smartphone, the realme X50 Pro 5G a couple of days ago in India. The handset features Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 90Hz display, 65W SuperDart charge, and much more. realme X50 Pro 5G is also the first smartphone in India to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and is also the first 5G smartphone in India, thanks to the Snapdragon X55 5G Modem.

Snapdragon 865 – 5G Ready

As said earlier, the realme X50 Pro 5G is India’s first smartphone to feature the latest offering by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865 processor. The 865 chipset is built on 7nm process technology, 64-bit CPU Architecture, Kryo 585 CPU. It comes with eight cores and is clocked up to 2.84GHz. Snapdragon 865 is paired up with Adreno 650 GPU. It also comes with the 5th gen Qualcomm AI Engine. The presence of the Snapdragon X55 5G modem-RF system enables the device to handle 5G networks when it arrives in India. The theoretical download speed peaks at up to 3.45 Gbps, which is 10x higher than 4G.

LPDDR5 RAM + UFS 3.0 Storage Combo

With up to 12GB+256GB supported, the new LPDDR5 standard and UFS 3.0 + Turbo Write + HPB(Host Boosting Performance) improves overall performance and reduces power consumption. The LPDDR5 RAM is 29% faster and 14% more power-efficient compared to the LPDDR4X and the UFS 3.0 storage is 250% faster and 30% more power-efficient compared to the UFS 2.1 storge.
