Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro with 90Hz Display, Snapdragon 865 Announced

Xiaomi backed smartphone gaming company, Black Shark has announced its third-gen gaming smartphones. At an event yesterday in China, Black Shark has announced the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. Both the devices are powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, a first on a mainstream gaming device, a 90Hz display with 270Hz touch sampling, and triple rear cameras.

The Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro comes with metal and glass body design with the latest fourth-gen cooling systems. Also, they feature a new 18W magnetic charging capabilities at the rear of the device to offer a better gaming experience while charging. Also, they come with up to 65W wired charging support. The Black Shark 3 comes with a Full-HD+ display while the 3 Pro offers a Quad-HD+ display and both the devices offer a 90Hz refresh rate with 270Hz touch sampling, the best on any smartphone till date.

As a 2020 smartphone, the Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro comes with the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The Black Shark 3 comes with a 4720mAH battery and the 3 Pro is packed with a 5000mAH battery and they can be charged from 0-100% in just 38 minutes. Over to the camera department, both the devices carry the same specs – a primary 64MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP 120-degree wide-angle lens with f/2.25, and a 5MP f/2.2 portrait lens triple rear cameras with LED flash. And, at the front, there is a 20MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.

Other notable features of the device include pressure sensitivity 3.0, MEMC intelligence Motion, liquid cooling system, new gaming triggers that are now physical pop-up buttons at the sides with 1.5mm keystroke, zero delays.
