OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro Launching on April 14

OnePlus has just revealed the launch date of the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. As expected, the launch will be hosted online and will be streamed on YouTube. The launch event will happen on April 14, 2020, two weeks from now and will start at 11 AM EDT which is 8:30 PM IST.

The teaser comes with a tag line “Lead with Speed” which is most probably hints to the 5G speeds as the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro expected to come with Snapdragon 865 SoC with X55 Modem for 5G connectivity. Apart from this, the teaser also mentions, Amazon.in and as expected the smartphones will be sold online via Amazon.in. Further, there is no mention on the pop-up yet and it is also safe to assume that there won’t be a pop-up event this time as it is important to maintain social distancing.
